IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL GUSTS OF NE WIND 35-65, DURING THE NIGHT UP TO 75, AND TOMORROW DURING THE FORENOON UP TO 90 KNOTS. SEA IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT 4-5.

A ridge of high pressure is extending from the north toward the Adriatic, while a low over the Ionian Sea is gradually filling up.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE wind 8-18, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic strengthening to 15-30 knots. In the Velebit Channel NE wind 15-30, during the night up to 35 knots. Sea 2-3, in the North Adriatic 3-4, increasing to 4-5. Visibility 10-20 km. Gradual cloud increase.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Cloudy, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic in the morning with sleet and snow, in the open with rain. NE wind strengthening to moderate and strong, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic to strong and near gale force. In the Velebit Channel strong and near gale force NE wind, strengthening to gale force, in places up to storm force. Sea slight and moderate, in the North Adriatic up to rough. Air temperatures will drop.
