LOCAL GUSTS OF NE and NW WINDS 35-45, IN PLACES DURING THE NIGHT UP TO
60 KNOTS. SEA IN THE OPEN 4-5. LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS STILL
POSSIBLE, MAINLY IN THE SOUTHERN PART DURING THE FORENOON.
A ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the northeast toward the
Adriatic, while unstable air is still circulating in high levels.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NE, in the open sea NW winds, strengthening to 12-26, in places during
the night up to 32 knots. Sea 3, in the open 4-5. Visibility 20-30 km.
Variably cloudy with scattered rain in the North and in a part of the
Central Adriatic, mainly during the forenoon, and with a risk of
isolated rain showers and thunder in the extreme south, but clearing is
expected in the afternoon. No significant change in air temperatures.
